(Oral) Learned senior counsel for the respondents has placed on record an order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court dated 18.05.2020 passed in SLP (Civil) No.3761 of 2020, titled as "Union of India vs Malwinder Jit Singh Waraich", vide which it is directed that the proceedings in this contempt petition will remain stayed till further orders. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.

However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file an application for revival, if so advised.
