NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) In pursuance to the order dated 13.12.2018, a detailed affidavit of the Director General of Police, Punjab, Chandigarh has been filed. This Court is satisfied with the action taken as detailed in para 4 of the said affidavit.

In view of the same, contempt petition is dismissed. Rule issued against the respondents stands discharged. We have no doubt that the respective complaints and the FIR shall be taken to its logical conclusion in accordance with law. Since the main case has been dismissed, the application of the applicant to intervene in the contempt petition has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such.
