JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) By filing this contempt petition, petitioner, who had joined as Helper on 07.2.1980 on temporary basis with the General Manager, Kaithal and promoted as Assistant Fitter in the year 1984 on the basis of National Trade Certificate of Fitter, has prayed for punishing the respondents for flouting the order dated 02.6.2016 passed by this Court in CWP No.11665 of 2016 directing the respondents to decide his representation dated 04.3.2015 (P.5) by passing a speaking order, in accordance in law. Upon notice, short reply by way of affidavit dated 15.3.2017 of Rahul Jain, General Manager, Haryana Roadways, Rohtak has been filed on behalf of respondent No.2 stating that in compliance of the order passed by this Court, a speaking order dated 21.12.2016 (R.1) has been passed and the pay scale of technical post as also the revised salary has been granted to the

COCP No.3050 of 2016 #2# petitioner thereby rendering the petition as infructuous. Faced with the aforesaid facts, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present contempt petition. Allowed as prayed for.
