Petitioner filed CRM-M-23679/2016 seeking directions to official respondents to conclude the investigation of FIR No.91 dated 7.5.2015 under Sections 302/201/34 IPC,PS Ateli,District Mahendergarh.

The said petition was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 17.8.2016 with a direction to respondent no.3-SSP Mahendergarh at Narnaul to expedite the investigation of the case in accordance with law.

Alleging disobedience of said order dated 17.8.2016 instant contempt has been filed.

Upon notice, reply by way of affidavit of Hamid Akhtar,IPS,SSP Mahendergarh has been filed stating therein that in Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2017.03.23 17:15 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP 3072/2016 pursuance of the order dated 17.8.2016 passed by this Court, the representation submitted by the petitioner was considered by him and rejected being devoid of any merits vide order dated 20.12.2016. A copy of the said order dated 20.12.2016 has been annexed as Annexure R-1.

In view of the reply filed by respondent, in my view, substantial compliance of order dated 17.8.2016 has been made, and no further action is warranted in the present contempt petition. Rule is discharged.
