Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioner alleges violation of order dated 12.01.2017 passed by the writ court. Operative part thereof reads as under:- "At the time of hearing, the prayer is restricted for directing the respondent authorities to conclude the pending enquiry within two months and thereafter take a decision upon his extension in service, as ordered by the Court under similar circumstances in CWP-7871 of 2016, decided on 19.05.2016 (Annexure P-10). Since no one has appeared to rebut the claim, the present petition is allowed in terms of the decision dated 19.05.2016 (P-10)." Petition is hereby disposed of with the direction that respondents shall comply with the aforesaid order at the earliest, in any case, not later than six weeks. In case, needful is not done, petitioner shall be at liberty to file afresh. In such eventuality, this court shall initiate proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act and shall also impose punitive costs on the officers who are found responsible for non-compliance of the order passed by the writ court. Same shall be deducted from their salary.
A copy of the order be handed over to learned State counsel under the signatures of Bench Secretary.
