Petitioners allege violation of order passed by the writ court on April 03, 2017. Operative part thereof reads as under:- "I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and without going into the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 16.01.2017 (Annexure P-4) by passing a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order." Learned State counsel, at the outset, submits that in case needful has not been done already, appropriate steps shall be taken forthwith, in any case, not later than one month.

In view of statement made by learned State counsel, no further direction is necessary. In case, any fresh cause of action accrues to the petitioners to invoke contempt jurisdiction of the court, apart from initiating proceedings under the Act, it shall also impose exemplary costs, which shall be deducted from the salary of the officers responsible for delay/noncompliance. Disposed of.
