(Oral) Learned State counsel submits that in pursuance of order passed by this Court on 19.12.2016, the statutory appeal has been decided by passing a speaking order and the present petition has become infructuous. Copy of the order has been placed on record and the same has also been handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner. In view of the submissions made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of accordingly.

However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same by availing the appropriate remedy.
