IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH

CR No.100 of 2020 Date of Decision : 11.01.2023 Mohinder Singh ....Petitioner

VERSUS

State Bank of India ....Respondent CORAM : HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ALKA SARIN Present :

None for the petitioner.

Mr. Eklavya Gupta, Advocate for Mr. Ashok Gupta, Advocate for the respondent. ALKA SARIN, J. (Oral) On first call, a pass-over was sought by learned counsel for the petitioner. On second call, none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the respondent states that the present revision petition has been filed against the impugned order dated 16.12.2019 whereby application filed by the petitioner for transfer of the case (CS No.404 of 2019) from the Court of Amit Malhan, Additional Civil Judge (Sr. Division), Hoshiarpur was rejected. The ground for transfer, as alleged in the application, was that the Officer was giving short adjournments and that the opposite party proclaimed that he was very influential and that he would get the case decided within one month and hence, on the basis of said apprehension, the application for transfer was filed. The said transfer application was dismissed vide order dated 16.12.2019. It has further been contended that the Officer since stands transferred and hence the present revision petition itself has been rendered infructuous. JITENDER KUMAR 2023.01.12 11:03 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment.
