Instant contempt has been filed by the petitioner alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 21.9.2016 (P-1) passed by this Court in CRM-M No.33399/2016.

The facts leading to the instant contempt are that son of the petitioner went missing for which he lodged an FIR and also made complaints to the police to trace out his son. Thereafter he filed CRM-M 33399/2016 for directing the police authorities to search his son and to take legal action against Deepak son of Ishwar and Amit son of Ramesh. The said petition was disposed of vide order dated 21.9.2016(P-1) passed by this Court with a direction to SP Panipat to consider and decide the FIR/complaints by passing a speaking order expeditiously. Upon notice, reply by way of affidavit dated 11.1.2017 of SP Panipat was filed stating therein that information about missing son of the Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2018.02.16 09:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP 3134/2016 petitioner was sent to all the police stations and a news was also flashed on Delhi Doordarshan as also on Local Cable/newspapers. Polygraph test of named suspects Deepak son of Ishwar and Amit son of Ramesh was also got conducted from FSL Madhuban,Karnal in which a negative report was found. Thereafter a number of additional affidavits/status reports have been filed by the police detailing the investigations carried out by them to trace the son of the petitioner. As on date the case is being investigated by Special Investigation Team of State Crime Branch,Haryana under the supervision of Superintendent of Police,State Crime Branch,Madhuban. From the investigations being carried out it is apparent that all forensic and surveillance methods are being used to trace the missing son of the petitioner.

At this stage, counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
