Today physical hearing was held but on request of learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter is taken up by way of hybrid hearing. This petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is filed seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No.11, dated 31st August, 2020 under Sections 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC and Sectiosn 13/1/a(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended by Act of 2018) registered at Police Station Vigilance Bureau, Range Jalandhar, District Jalandhar. This Court vide order dated 19th April, 2021 granted interim bail to the petitioner subject to joining investigation. Learned State Counsel, on instructions from Inspector Pawan Kumar submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is co-operating.
As no custodial interrogation is needed, the interim bail granted on 19th April, 2021 is made absolute. Disposed of accordingly.
