Petitioner filed a complaint in June 2016 alleging a series of instances of sexual offences committed against her son by the Warden of Boys' Hostel namely Gulshan Kumar which resulted in lodging of FIR No.53 dated 8.7.2016 under Sections 377,506 IPC and 3,4,6 and 9 of the POCSO Act at PS Sadar Batala.

Petitioner filed CRM-M25068/2016 alleging that the owner of the School, who happened to be MLA is threatening the complainant party for effecting a compromise. Thus,prayer was for protecting the life and liberty. Said petition was disposed of vide order dated 25.7.2016 directing the police authorities Ludhiana to look into the prayer of the petitioner qua aforesaid threats. Since no action was taken hence the present contempt. Upon notice an affidavit dated 6.4.2018 of SSP Batala has been filed wherein it is stated that as regards the FIR the criminal trial is at the Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2018.04.06 17:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP 3201/2016 stage of recording of prosecution witnesses whereas as regards the threat perception, complainant Reena Kumari herself has got recorded a statement before the police that she has no threat perception. In view of the above,no further proceedings are warranted in the present contempt.
