This is an application filed under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 for placing on record Annexure A-7 and A-8. Application is allowed, documents are taken on record subject to all just exceptions.
Main Case:
Learned State counsel submits that a combined seniority list has been prepared according to which, 16 persons were found wrongly promoted to the post of Clerk in excess of 20% quota. It is further submitted that out of these 16 persons, 8 persons have PANKAJ BAWEJA 2019.10.24 15:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Ciourt, Chandigarh
COCP No.3144 of 2017 (O&M) -2retired in the interregnum and other 8 persons have been reverted. He apprises the Court that persons who have retired have filed Letters Patent Appeal challenging the judgment of learned Single Judge and other 8 persons who have been reverted, have challenged the order of reversion by filing the writ petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that all the persons, who were promoted beyond 20% quota, have not been reverted, however he failed to substantiate the allegation. Learned counsel for the petitioner, at this stage, seeks liberty to avail remedies in accordance with law in case there are some persons who have been promoted wrongly in excess of 20% quota.
The contempt petition is disposed of with liberty as prayed for.
