Mr.V.Ramswaroop, Addl.A.G., Punjab Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) Learned State counsel seeks to place on record affidavit of Nanak Singh, Superintendent of Police, Faridkot. He has referred to para Nos. 2, 3 & 4. Same reads as under:- "Para 2-That it is respectfully submitted that on the last date of hearing, this Hon'ble Court had directed the deponent and the Deputy Commissioner, Faridkot to hold a joint meeting with both the truck unions and make an effort to resolve the issue once and for all.

3-That it is respectfully submitted that in compliance of the directions issued by this Hon'ble Court, the representatives/members of both the truck unions were called to the office of deponent on 4.5.2017. From the side of the petitioner Jasvir Singh, the persons namely Kamaljit Singh, Prithi Singh, Chamkaur Singh and Jangir Singh came present. From the opposite side Sardul Singh, Surinder Kumar, Rajiv Kumar and Jagroop Singh came present. The grievances of both the parties were heard and after hearing them they have taken the guarantee on behalf of their members that they would not create any law and order problem in connection with the dispute at hand and they would maintain peace and harmony. They have further stated that they would obey whatever directions that would be passed by this Hon'ble Court.

4-That it is respectfully submitted that

COCP No. 3258 of 2016 2 thereafter both the parties were also called in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Faridkot wherein the deponent was also present. There also they have stated that they shall maintain harmony between them and shall not disrupt peace. They have also stated that they would comply with the directions passed by this Hon'ble Court. True translated statements of the representatives of both the truck unions are being annexed herewith as Annexure R-1/T and R-2/T respectively for the kind consideration of this Hon'ble Court."

In view of above, it appears that dispute has been resolved. Thus no further direction is necessary. Petition is disposed of. Rule is discharged.
