Notice of motion.
On the asking of court, Mr. Harsimran Singh Sethi, Addl. A.G. Punjab., who is present in court, accepts notice. Petitioner alleges violation of order dated 01.03.2016 passed by this court, operative part thereof reads as under:- "Learned counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Swaran Singh of Division No. V, Ludhiana submits that after thorough investigation, cancellation report has been prepared and the same is likely to be presented before learned Area Judicial Magistrate within 7 weeks of passing of the present order.
In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition at this stage. Ordered accordingly."
Petition is disposed of with the direction that in case report under section 173 Cr.P.C. has not been presented before the competent court till now, needful be done within one month.
