Petitioners filed CWP 9425/2015 claiming a direction to respondents to grant them revised pay scales recommended by various pay commissions with regard to skilled and semi skilled staff working under the Punjab Government. The said writ petition was disposed of vide order dated 18.5.2015 with a direction to respondents to take a decision on the legal notice dated 23.12.2014 submitted by the petitioners in this regard, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.

Now alleging disobedience of said order instant contempt has been filed.

At the time of hearing today, reply by way of affidavit of Sh.DP Reddy,Addl.Chief Secretary,Local Government,Punjab has been filed stating therein that the legal notice submitted by the petitioners stand decided vide speaking order dated 13.1.2017(R-1).
