As per the affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police/respondent No.1, it is stated that the petitioner and his wife are involved in number of cases of cheating. It is also stated that a prior notice under Section 160(2) Cr.P.C., was served upon the wife of the petitioner and only thereafter, she was arrested. Even as per the affidavit of the Sub-Inspector/respondent No.2, the petitioner was declared a proclaimed offender on 13.09.2018. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
