RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of directions to learned JMIC, Panipat, to conclude the proceedings of case (CHI-478-2016) initiated on the basis of FIR No.1566, dated 21.11.2015, under Sections 336 and 338 IPC, registered at Police Station City Panipat, expeditiously. It has been submitted that FIR is dated 21.11.2015 and petitioner is facing trial for the last about seven years. He submits that no substantial progress is taking place in the trial during all these years. Notice of motion.
On the asking of the Court, Mr. B.S.Virk DAG, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State and submits that in all there are 13 prosecution witnesses, out of which eight have already been examined.
