**** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Learned State counsel has filed separate replies on behalf of respondents No.1, 3, 4 and 5, in court today. Same are taken on record. According to the affidavits, amount of Rs.870.91 lacs has been found due to the petitioner, for which sanction has been granted and payment shall be released as soon as necessary approval is received from the Finance Department. According to the State counsel, grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. Needful shall be done at the earliest, in any case, not later than one month.

In view of the above, no cause of action survives in this petition. Same is hereby disposed of. It is, however, made clear that, in case, any fresh cause of action accrues to the petitioner to invoke contempt jurisdiction of the court, apart from initiating proceedings under the Act, it shall also impose punitive costs, which shall be deducted from the salary of the officers responsible for delay/non-compliance.
