Petitioner- Housing Society filed CWP 11526/2014 for directing the official respondents to make the builder provide facilities as per agreement and provisions of the Punjab Apartment and Property Regulation Act,1995.

The said writ petition was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 18.12.2014 with a direction to competent authority to consider and decide representation dated 12.2.2014 submitted by petitioner society after affording opportunity of hearing to petitioner society/builder, by passing a speaking order preferably within a period of five months from the date of passing of the order. At the time of hearing today, learned State counsel has produced a copy of order dated 14.3.2017 passed by the Deputy Director, Local Government stating therein that after the receipt of orders representatives of petitioner-Society and builder were summoned on various dates and necessary instructions issued to the builder to provide facilities/complete development work within three weeks from 14.3.2017 to the satisfaction of Executive Officer, Municipal Council,Kharar failing which E.O., MC Kharar shall lodge the FIR against the builder/promoter under the provisions of the Act under intimation to the Deputy Director, Local Government,Patiala. Copy of said order is taken on record.

At the time of hearing today, learned counsel for the petitioner concedes that directions dated 18.12.2014 issued by this Court have been complied with and no further action is warranted in the instant contempt petition.

Dismissed as having become infructuous.
