******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that as per order dated 17.12.2019, they have been directed to join the investigation but are not being allowed to join and an application in this regard was moved before Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Ludhiana, where the direction was given to the Investigating Officer.

The question, which arises for consideration is as to whether petitioners have surrendered before the Investigating Officer? Petitioners are directed to surrender before the Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Ludhiana on 19.01.2020 on which date, learned Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Ludhiana will take steps to call the Investigating Officer and allow the petitioners to join the investigation in terms of order dated 17.12.2019 passed in CRM-M-538822019. With the aforesaid observations, present petition stands disposed of.
