*** HARSH BUNGER, J. (Oral) The instant Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.2 and 3 to renew the passport of the petitioner.

Ms. Sehej Sandhawalia, Central Govt. Counsel, who has appeared on behalf of the respondent(s)-Union of India, pursuant to the advance copy of petition having been sent to the Union of India, submits that the present petition is pre-mature as the petitioner had failed to respond to the e-mail (Annexure P-10).

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the fact that in pursuance of the e-mail (Annexure P-10), the petitioner has not approached the Indian Embassy at Paris. It is further submitted that the petitioner would now approach the Indian Embassy at Paris and accordingly, HIMANI GUPTA 2025.01.16 09:11 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/judgment High Court, Chandigarh
