*** HARSH BUNGER, J. (Oral) The instant Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.2 and 3 to renew the passport of the petitioner.

Ms. Sehej Sandhawalia, Central Govt. Counsel, who has appeared on behalf of the respondent(s)-Union of India, pursuant to the advance copy of petition having been sent to the Union of India, submits that the present petition is pre-mature as the petitioner had failed to respond to the e-mail (Annexure P-10).

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the fact that in pursuance of the e-mail (Annexure P-10), the petitioner has not approached the Indian Embassy at Paris.
