JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) The petitioner is stated to have retired on 29.2.2012 as Accounts Clerk from the office of Director, Rural Development and Panchayat Department.

This Court vide order dated 30.9.2015 directed respondent No.2-Director, Department of Rural development & Panchayat to look into the claim of the petitioner qua release of the balance retiral dues within a time frame.

Upon notice, an affidavit dated 12.7.2018 of the Director-cumSpecial Secy, Rural development and Panchayat, Punjab, Mohali has been filed whereby it is stated in para 3 that the claim of the petitioner has been decided by passing a speaking order dated 15.12.2017, in compliance of the directions passed by this Court. It is stated that due retiral benefits have since been released.

COCP No.429 of 2016 #2# Learned counsel for the parties are agreed that no further action is warranted in the petition.

Disposed of.
