*** NAMIT KUMAR, J. (ORAL) Petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.PC seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.116 dated 14.06.2022 under Sections 323, 325, 326, 148, 149 IPC, registered at Police Station Ajnala, District Amritsar Rural. (Annexure P-1).
Vide order dated 13.01.2023 while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join investigation. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that pursuant to order dated 13.01.2023, petitioner has joined the investigation and as such his interim bail may be made absolute. The learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Ranjit Singh has affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his further investigation in the present case is not required. In view of the above, interim order dated 13.01.2023 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
The present petition stands disposed off.
