Petitioner, alongwith others filed CWP 26281/2014 challenging their reversion from the post of Ziledar vide order dated 28.11.2014. This Court vide order dated 16.11.2015 quashed the impugned order dated 28.11.2014 by further mandating the respondents to reconsider the whole issue after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and passing a speaking order thereafter. Now instant contempt petition has been filed alleging noncompliance of the order dated 16.11.2015 passed by this Court. Upon notice, reply by way of affidavit of Anil Kumar Gupta, Engineer-in-Chief, Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Haryana, Panchkula has been filed stating therein that in compliance of Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2017.04.21 14:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
COCP 452/2016 the order dated 16.11.2015 passed by this Court, matter was reconsidered after affording personal hearing to the petitioners, their claim stands rejected for the reasons given in the speaking order dated 23.8.2016(R-1). Thus, it is averred that order dated 16.11.2015 has been complied with in letter and spirit.
At the time of hearing,learned counsel for the petitioner concedes that in view of the speaking order (R-1) the instant contempt petition has become infructuous.
Dismissed as infructuous.
