This is the third petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of interim bail to attend the wedding of his sister and brother on 23.01.2022 and 25.01.2022. Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the wedding of the sister of petitioner already stands solemnized on 23.01.2022 and the wedding of his brother is yet to be solemnized and is fixed for 25.01.2022. Learned counsel for the State on instruction from SHO Sadar states that the wedding of the brother of petitioner is fixed for 25.01.2022 at his village in Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the NCB has vehemently contended that YOGESH SHARMA 2022.01.24 14:35 I attest to the accuracy of this order.

CRM-M-2314-2022(O&M) this is not a fit case for grant of interim bail inasmuch as the recovery in the present case is over two lacs tablets of Tramadol from various persons involved in the said case.

Keeping in view the totality of the circumstances, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the present petition with a direction that the petitioner be taken, in custody, to his Village Jhameri, District Ludhiana enabling him to attend the marriage of his brother there on 25.01.2022 from 08.00 A.M to 04.00 P.M.

Disposed off accordingly.
