**** ANOOP CHITKARA, J. (ORAL) In the first call, none has put in appearance on behalf of the peƟƟoner, as such, Mr. Anand Kaushal, Advocate is appointed as legal aid counsel on behalf of the peƟƟoner and copy of the paper book supplied to legal aid counsel, who seeks Ɵme to argue the maƩer.

Case taken up again in second call, legal Aid Counsel for the peƟƟoner submits that he has gone through the paper book which has been handed over to him by the State counsel.

State counsel submits that the peƟƟoner by way of this peƟƟon sought a direcƟon to official respondent file status report in FIR No. 226 dated 27.07.2017 and now a cancellaƟon report has been prepared and the same will be filed shortly. 4.
Legal aid counsel submits that peƟƟoner be given liberty to file protest peƟƟon before the trial Court and trial Court be also directed to give ample opportunity to peƟƟoner to prove his stand.

Given the stand of the State that the cancellaƟon report has been prepared, no order is required to be passed in the present peƟƟon and the same is disposed of. Liberty reserved to peƟƟoner to file protest peƟƟon, in case such protest peƟƟon/objecƟon filed by peƟƟoner, trial Court shall grant ample opportunity to peƟƟoner to prove his case. All pending miscellaneous applicaƟons, if any, stand disposed of. 6.
