Petition is disposed of with the direction that the concerned authority may take steps to purge the contempt at the earliest, in any case not later than 06 weeks. If a fresh cause of action accrues to the petitioner to invoke contempt jurisdiction of this court, apart from initiating proceedings under the Act, it shall consider imposition of punitive costs to be recovered from the salary of the officer(s) responsible for delay/non compliance.
