(Oral) The substantive prayer made in the instant petition reads thus :- "It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that the present petition may kindly be allowed and a direction may kindly be issued to the Ld. Additional Sessions Judge, Fazilka to decide the Criminal Revision bearing No. 97 of 2024 filed by the petitioner titled as State through Mahavir Versus Amardev and others pending for 28.01.2025 in a time bound manner with a further prayer for issuance of direction to the Ld. JMIC, Abohar not to proceed with the trial of the case during the pendency of the aforesaid revision petition before the Ld. Additional Sessions Judge, Fazilka, in the interest of justice." Keeping in view the nature of prayer made, this Court does not deem it appropriate to call upon the respondents at this stage. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and upon perusal of the record, it is deemed appropriate that the concerned Sessions Court is directed to decide the criminal revision pending before it expeditiously. Ordered accordingly.
