(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioners stated that he does not want to pursue the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.79 dated 17.07.2016 under Sections 498-A/34 IPC registered at Police Station Majitha, Amritsar Rural (Annexure P-1) as he wants to file a fresh quashing petition on the basis of compromise as the matrimonial dispute has been settled between the parties.

In view of the above, the petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
