***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Civil writ petition was disposed of vide order dated April 10, 2015. Operative part thereof reads as under:- "The resultant effect would be that the petitioners would be entitled to compensation at the rate when first notification would be issued. They shall also be entitled to other statutory benefits as per new law. We further direct that the requirement of Social Impact Assessment may be dispensed with to expedite the acquisition.

It is made clear that if the Award is not passed by the stipulated date, cost of Rs.1,00,000/- already awarded vide order dated 08.10.2013, shall stand increased to Rs.2,00,000/-."

Learned State counsel submits that out of Rs.2,00,000/- imposed as costs, Rs.1,70,000/- has already been recovered from the officials responsible for the delay in implementing the order passed by the writ court. He submits that rest of the costs shall also be recovered at the earliest in any case not later than 06 weeks.
