NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) Contempt is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 26.08.2015 vide which a direction was issued to consider claim of the petitioner for regularisation.
Today, learned State counsel has placed on record the order dated 05.04.2019, vide which the petitioner has been regularised w.e.f. 01.10.2003.
Accordingly, contempt is dismissed.
Rule issued against the respondents stands discharged. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner has pointed that no arrears of the said regularisation has been released. This Court has no doubt that the same shall be released as early as possible and preferably within eight weeks from today. In case the needful is not done, the petitioner will be at liberty to file a fresh contempt petition for release of the same.
