Petitioners allege violation of order dated 17.03.2015 passed by LPA Bench. At the outset, learned State counsel submits that order has been complied with in letter and spirit. He has referred to affidavit of C Sibin Director, Rural Development and Panchayat, Punjab. Para 5 thereof reads as under:- "5. That it is further submitted that the Complaint was filed on 16.08.2016 by Sarpanch that Panches are not cooperating. After hearing, the opportunity was granted to the Panches for 27.09.2016. On 27.09.2016, Sarpanch and Panches appeared before deponent. After hearing, Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Changawan, directed to call the meeting in his presence for initiating the development works. Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Changawan, called the Sarpanch and Panches. After hearing, he sent the report vide letter No.

2944, dated 09.11.2016 to the Director, Rural Development and Panchayat that the Panches have agreed with Sarpanch for initiating the development works. After considering the report Block Development and Panchayat Ajay Kumar 2017.08.

COCP No. 62 of 2016 Officer, Changawan, the opportunity was granted to Panches for 26.10.2016. Panches agreed with Sarpanch to initiate the development works. Sarpanch/petitioner informed to the Director, Rural Development and Panchayat vide representation dated 30.11.2016 that the development works are running smoothly with the cooperation of Panches and she want to withdraw the contempt petition. Thereafter, complaint was filed on 20.12.2016. The order of this Hon'ble Court has been complied with."

In view of above, this court feels that no further direction is necessary. Disposed of. However, in the eventuality any application is moved to show that the order has not been complied with, this court shall be constrained to revive the petition and initiate action against the respondents for contempt.
