***** SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) In the instant petition, learned counsel for the petitioner has assailed the orders dated 04.12.2018 (Annexure P-9) and 04.01.2019 (Annexure P-11) whereby, respondent No.5-Raj Kumar Gupta was placed one step senior to the petitioner.

Now, the counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been granted the promotion during the pendency of the present writ petition i.e. from 07.09.2022. As his claim for promotion is fulfilled, nothing survives in the present writ petition.

In the light of the same, counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the instant petition, however, with a liberty to claim his seniority KUSUM 2023.07.29 10:28 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment Punjab & Haryana High Court, CHD

In view of the above-said submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is ordered to be dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
