COCP NO.3591 of 2017 Learned State counsel for the respondents submitted that directions contained in the order dated 02.06.2016 passed in CRM-M-19950 of 2016 was to expedite the investigation.
As per the averments made in paragraphs 4 and 5 of the reply which are reproduced herein below:- "4.
That Pankaj Kaushal accused has now been joined in the investigation on 06.01.2018, after his anticipatory bail was allowed by the Court of ld. Additional Sessions Judge,
{2} Jalandhar and his licensed revolver 32 Bore which was allegedly used at the time of occurrence was taken into possession. Similarly Manvir Singh @ Manna who was confined in Central Jail, Kapurthala in another case FIR No.95 dated 25.04.2017 u/s 307 IPC and 25/27/54/59 Arms Act was brought on production warrants and arrested in the present case on 08.01.2018. During investigation both the accused Pankaj Kaushal and Manveer Singh @ Manna admitted that they had fired with their fire arms out side the house of Kulvir Singh on 27.10.2015. Manveer Singh @ Manna also made extra judicial confession that revolver which was used by him on 27.10.2015 was already taken into possession by the police in case FIR No.95 dated 25.04.2017 under Section 307 IPC and 25/27/54/50 Arms Act registered at Police Station Sadar, Jamsher.

That now supplementary challan has been prepared against Pankaj Kaushal and Manveer Singh @ Manna who have been arrested in this case and supplementary challan u/s 173(8) Cr.P.C is being submitted in the trial Court on 29.01.2018. The PO proceedings are going on against the third accused Manveer Singh @ Manna son of Gurdial Sing who has gone abroad."
Challan has been filed on 29.01.2018.
{3} There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. On perusal of the aforementioned contents of the paragraphs, it is evident that directions have been complied with and no further action is required.
Rule is discharged.
Petition stands disposed of.
