***** MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU, J Present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of impugned letter dated 15.12.2020 (P-6) issued by respondent No.2 vide which the ban on the bank accounts of Gram Panchayat, Saimir Bas has been lifted.

This Court, while issuing notice of motion on 28.01.2021, passed the following order:- "At the outset, learned Counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer that instead of going into the merits of the controversy, enquiry pending against the Sarpanch be concluded within the stipulated period.

Notice of motion.

On asking of the court, Mr. Kiran Pal Singh, AAG, Haryana accepts notice and seeks time to have instructions in the matter.

On his request, adjourned to 29.01.2021."

CWP-1852-2021 -2Today, learned State counsel, on instructions from Yashveer Singh, Superintending Engineer (PR), Vigilance Wing, Rohtak, has apprised the Court that pending enquiry against the Sarpanch shall be concluded within four weeks from today.

Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the petition any further. Dismissed as withdrawn.

Let the enquiry against the Sarpanch be concluded within six weeks positively.
