State of Punjab and others The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.83 dated 10.05.2016 under Sections 382, 323, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC) registered at Police Station City Kharar, District SAS Nagar and all other consequential proceedings arising there-from on the basis of compromise dated 16.05.2016 (Annexure P-2).

Learned counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Surinder Singh has stated that cancellation report in the present case already stands accepted by the concerned Illaqa Magistrate.
