The substantive prayer made in the petition reads thus: 'Petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C with a prayer for quashing the cross case registered vide DDR No. 35 dated 07.08.2016 Annexure P/2 u/s 452,324, 323,148,149 IPC(326 IPC and section 34 added and section 148,149 deleted later on after the presentation of challan in the court in the present case) in FIR case no. 188 dated 07.08.2016 police station Sadar Ferozepur u/s 307/342/323/148/149 IPC and section 27,54 of Arms Act (Annexure P/1) as well as all the subsequent proceedings arising out of the said FIR qua the petitioners, as the present FIR has been registered against the present petitioners and other co-accused illegally, wrongly and falsely.'
