JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) The petitioner is the widow of Darshan Lal, who while serving as Junior Engineer with the Department of Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd had died on 30.10.2010. She filed a writ petition bearing CWP No.2258 of 2013 claiming interest on the delayed payment of service benefits.

This Court vide order dated 16.1.2015 disposed of the said writ petition by passing the following directions: " Consequently, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to calculate interest @ 7% per annum on the delayed payment of service benefits to the petitioner, from 01.02.2011 till 30.10.2011, and thereafter @ 10% per annum from 31.10.2010, till the actual date of payment thereof, i.e. 31.07.2012.

The above amount be calculated and paid to the

COCP No.761 of 2016 #2# petitioner within 3 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

In case it is not paid within the aforesaid three months, interest @ 18% p.a., from the date of expiry of the said three months (from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order) till the date that the actual payment is made, shall be paid to the petitioner, on the interest amount itself."

Upon notice, a short reply by way of affidavit dated 15.7.2016 of Sh. A.K. Raheja, SE (OP) Circle UHBVNL, Panipat has been filed showing the full details in para 3 to 6 qua payment made in compliance of order dated 16.1.2015.

The petitioner has filed no rebuttal to the same. Learned counsel for the respondent, on instructions from Sh. Pankaj Dhawan, XEN, UHBVNL, City Panipat as also taking into account the contents of the affidavit, submits that the directions contained in the order has been fully complied with. In view of the above, present petition is dismissed as infructuous and the rule is discharged.
