(proceedings conducted through video conferencing) ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not wish to press the petition on merits and has, however, requested that some direction may be issued to the Trial Court for expediting the conclusion of the main petition filed under Section 125 Cr.P.C. In view of the aforesaid submission, the present petition is dismissed as not pressed.

The Trial Court is, however, directed to make endeavour for expeditious disposal of the main case and to take all such steps as may be conveniently possible under present circumstances of spread of pandemic COVIC-19 subject to adherence of all the safeguards as prescribed by the Health Authorities.
