Through Video Conferencing JASGURPREET SINGH PURI , J. (Oral) Petitioners claim that they have attained majority and are in live-in relationship and they have entered into an agreement dated 07.01.2021 (Annexure P-3) to that effect with their own free will and consent. The petitioners have placed on record copies of their Aadhar Cards (Annexures P-1 and P-2) as proof of their age. Apprehending threat to their life and liberty, they have filed the present petition for protection. Petitioners claim to have submitted a representation (Annexure P-4) dated 04.01.2021 in this regard to the Superintendent of Police, Hansi, District Hisar.

Heard. Record perused.

Notice of motion to the office of Advocate General, Haryana. On asking of the Court, Mr. Naveen Sheoran, DAG, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the State and states that he has no objection in case the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Superintendent of Police, Hansi, District Hisar, to look into the representation (Annexure PVIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2021.01.19 10:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Without commenting anything on the inter-se relationship between the petitioners and considering the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Superintendent of Police, Hansi, District Hisar, to look into the representation (Annexure P-4) filed by the petitioners and to take some other measures, if so required in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the present order, so as to protect the life of the petitioners.

It is made clear that these aforesaid directions are made only limited to the protection of life of petitioners and it does not in any way put any seal on the inter-se relationship between the petitioners.
