(ORAL) Petitioners herein, inter alia, seek issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant them additional one mark in their result on the basis of question No. 66 in series (C) of petitioner No.1, question No. 57 in series (D) of petitioner No.2, and question No. 43 in series (T) of petitioner No.3 and to place them in the merit list declared by respondent No. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners qua their aforesaid grievance submitted a representation dated 02.09.2021 (Annexure P-11) but the same has not been adverted by the respondents till date. Hence, the instant petition.

On advance service, learned State counsel joins proceedings and opposes issuance of notice of motion and submits that competent authority shall take decision either way, on the pending representation of the petitioners, in due course.

Learned counsel for the petitioners also agrees that let a final decision be taken, by the competent authority on the pending representation dated 02.09.2021 (Annexure P-11).

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to look into the grievance of the petitioners as per representation dated 02.09.2021 (Annexure P11) and also by keeping in view the contentions raised in the present petition by treating the same as supplementary representation and take a decision, in accordance with law.

Let the needful be done within a period of 60 days from today. 8.

Disposed of accordingly.
