The petitioner filed a writ petition raising a grievance that Sports Certificate produced by the petitioner was not considered and due marks not given. The writ petition was dismissed. In an intracourt appeal, the respondents were directed to consider the Sports Certificate submitted by the petitioner. Further, it was directed that petitioner shall also submit Gradation Certificate duly obtained from the sports authorities.

Thereafter, the Sports Certificate and Gradation Certificate were considered, he was awarded five marks. The grievance raised in the contempt petition is that in spite of giving five PANKAJ BAWEJA 2019.11.22 15:27 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Ciourt, Chandigarh

COCP No.981 of 2011 -2marks, he was not selected.

Learned counsel for the respondent has taken specific stand that there was only one post and the person appointed on the said post i.e. Mr. Rajpal had secured more marks than the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to contradict the said position.

The contempt petition is disposed of.
