***** Rakesh Kumar Jain, J. (Oral) The respondent has filed a short affidavit and a copy thereof is supplied to the counsel for the petitioners.

It is averred in para 4 of the affidavit that claim of the petitioners for grant of benefit of extension of 2 year service with financial benefits from their respective date of retirement has been considered and the same has been allowed by the department by passing a well reasoned speaking order dated 01.04.2015 and accordingly, the concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officer has been directed to re-fix the pay and submit the case for revised pensionary benefits to the competent authority i.e. Accountant General, Punjab.

Counsel for the respondent has also submitted that now the

Though the Accountant General, Punjab is not a party before this Court yet, in the interest of justice, keeping in view the fact that the petitioners may not come to this Court again for seeking another direction to release their pensionary benefits in a time bound manner, the Accountant General, Punjab, is directed to look into the pension case of the petitioners, as approved by the Government, and release their pensionary benefits within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

The Registry of this Court is directed to supply a certified copy of this order to the Accountant General, Punjab, immediately. April 28, 2015 (Rakesh Kumar Jain) vinod* Judge
