Petitioners have filed instant petition under Section 528 of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) for quashing of FIR No.0016 dated 16.02.2024 under Sections 406 and 498-A,420, 120-B of IPC, registered at Police Station Nihal Singh Wala, District Moga, (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise.

Learned counsel representing the petitioners states that in the case in hand some of the offences have been deleted whereas cancellation report is also being filed by the Investigation Agency. Therefore, he has instructions to withdraw the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.0016 dated 16.02.2024 on the basis of compromise. 3.

In view of the aforesaid statement, present criminal petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
