RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through instant second petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for grant of regular bail to petitioner - Jaswinder Singh in a case arising from FIR No.29 dated 01.06.2018 registered under Sections 302 and 34 IPC at Police Station Dhilwan, Kapurthala. Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that petitioner has been attributed lalkara. He is in custody since 03.06.2019. Conclusion of trial may take a sufficient long time. Co-accused of the petitioner, namely, Boota Singh, has been granted regular bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 17.10.2018 passed in CRMM-44955 of 2018. No useful purpose would be served by detaining the petitioner in jail any more. Treating the case of the petitioner on same parity as that of his co-accused, he may also be granted regular bail. Considering overall facts and circumstances, but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed. Treating the case of the petitioner on the same parity as that of his aforesaid co-accused, he (Jaswinder Singh) is ordered to be released on bail during pendency of trial, if not required in any other case, on his furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned.
