In the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, at Chandigarh Criminal Misc. No. M-1074 of 2019 Date of Decision: 04.02.2019 Vijay Kumar ... Petitioner(s)

Versus

State of Punjab and Others ... Respondent(s) CORAM: Hon'ble Mr. Justice Shekher Dhawan.

Present:

Mr. Viranjeet Singh Mahal, Advocate for the petitioner(s).

Shekher Dhawan, J.

In the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., filed by petitioner, who is a complainant in case FIR No. 113 dated 02.09.2018, registered under Sections 378, 379, 382 & 307 IPC at Police Station Division No.2, Pathankot, the grievance is that appropriate sections have not been added in the FIR, though it was a case involving grievous injuries, which could be dangerous. However, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly conceded that the injuries were attracting the provision of Section 307 IPC as well. Learned counsel contended that representation dated 30.09.2018 (Annexure P4) made to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot is pending and no action has been taken as regard to other offences as well.

Notice of motion.
