(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in a case arising from FIR No.48 dated 06.04.2016, registered under Section 379-B IPC and subsequently added Section 411 IPC, at Police Station Sadar Amritsar, District Amritsar.
According to the prosecution, in the early morning of 03.04.2016 two unknown persons robbed the complainant for Rs.500/-, two mobile phones and other articles, while he was travelling in an auto-rikshaw.
Learned counsel contends that co-accused of the petitioner namely Love has been granted regular bail by this Court, vide order dated SONIKA 2019.01.24 19:23 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
CRM-M-1089 of 2019 --2-- 19.11.2018 passed in CRM-M-49711 of 2018 (P-3). Treating the case of the petitioner on the same parity, he may also be granted the concession of regular bail.
Considering overall facts and circumstances, but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed.
