The petitioner was alleging that his neighbour Kulwant Singh has made encroachment on the public street in front of their houses. In compliance of the directions passed by a Division Bench of this Court on 26.7.2017, site inspection of the street was got conducted and it has been found that there is no inconvenience caused to anyone nor the gate of anyone has been obstructed.

At this stage,counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the instant contempt to enable his client to seek civil remedy in accordance with law.
