(ORAL) The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., for quashing of FIR No. 005 dated 05.01.2020 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 363 and 366 IPC at Police Station Begowal, District Kapurthala, Punjab and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

At the outset, learned counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Arjun Singh, submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous, as after completion of investigation, the police had prepared cancellation report on 11.04.2023, which was approved on 13.05.2023.

Learned counsel counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel for respondent No. 2 have not disputed the aforesaid submissions made by learned counsel for the State. In view of the above, the instant petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
