CWP 15832/2017 filed by the petitioner seeking grant of extra increment, seniority, pension etc., as per instructions dated 20.7.1965 as well as letter dated 9.2.2017, was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 23.8.2017 with a direction to respondents to reconsider his case in the light of referred documents/judgments and pass a speaking order within 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. Present contempt has been filed stating that while passing the impugned order dated 2.1.2018, the spirit of the order dated 23.8.2017 has not been complied with.

After arguing for sometime and having failed to convince the Court, learned counsel seeks permission to withdraw the present contempt to enable his client to challenge the order dated 2.1.2018 in accordance with law.
